Something’s Fishy

Something’s Fishy
is the final pattern in the Storybook Snugglers series. This fishy quilt is designed for snuggling and reading Dr. Seuss’ classic story, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Children can enjoy the rhythm and rhyme while finding the colorful fish characters on their quilt. And don’t forget to look for Rainbow Fish, who snuck on to this quilt, as well.  A background of plain blocks, placed on point, allows the quilter to add shading to the ocean.

Life in the Fishbowl, the second pattern, displays two glitzy goldfish watching the world. Quick and easy to make with large appliqué pieces, it features a vertical stripe background and is great for all those glorious batiks in your stash.

Even if you don’t have a fish story to tell, one of these quilts is sure to delight a little one you know.
