Monkey Business

Monkey Business pays homage to Cheryl’s read-aloud time as an elementary classroom teacher. Every elementary teacher knows the classic story Caps for Sale, about the hat peddler who falls asleep under a tree and has his wares stolen by busy monkeys. Cheryl was inspired to create a variety of hats and monkeys scampering in a tree for the quilt design.

Putting on the Ritz is the second pattern, and is a simple appliqué quilt featuring one of the monkeys in a larger size, but with a decidedly different color palette.
